you have to admire Brent's persistence trying to find something the band would consistently play with him.

Bobby Rock Star!!!
Just saw the video recording of this show, clasic Bobby Rock Star! During Sugar Mags and Satisfaction he is literally skipping across the whole stage and the crowd goes wild! The boys always seem to Rock out in Rochester..see 11/5/77 for one of the alltime greatest Eyes, great work from Jerry and Phil there.

I was 4 at the time of this - my first concert memory!
I can't believe I finally found this. I've been to a bunch of Dead shows growing up with my father, and this is the only one I vividly remember. I clearly remember eating a brownie on my dad's shoulder and hearing Iko Iko in the background. Awesome.

Memories...
Diamonds everywhere on the ground outside the show afterwards; an angel gave me a bracelet, I could not speak, my bro had to lead me away, or I might have proposed; Smoking hot Estimated blew us off the seats we were standing on at the back of the taper's section; my friend Will patiently tried to tell me the setlist after the show, but I couldn't pay attention because he sounded too funny. I thought it was a terrific show, but I was obviously not an objective observer. FUN!!!

"I said, 'oooooohhhhh'"
Ace is hilarious, and clearly smashed by the time the 2nd set rolls around. classic!
pretty standard performance, but an excellent recording. as always, there are some highlights (like bobby's drunken antics), she belongs tome being one of them.
i'll give this 4 because of the recording, which i think is really what we are all here for...good sound.

Something was up that night!
This was a show that I thought I would never make it to. 2 friends and myself left Point Pleasant NJ and missed our flight due to un forseen reasons (Stopping for munchies)..So I decided to drive (8 hours), we got there just in time and were on the floor, 10 rows standing before they came out for IKO. There was no doubt something was going on with the band that night. Something good for us. Bobby addressed the crowd before each set, unusual for '85. And dropping the Blues for Allah at the end! And then add a Satisfation on! Anyone ever seen that before? I was at 137 shows (from '78 on) (yes I was 12 at my first show) and never saw that...This show challenges the March 1985 show at the Coliseum where they opened with Truckin -> Smokestack....
Chill East Coast..I have heard worse Eyes...

Last show of the Tour for me
This was the last show of the tour for me. It was a fond farewell to the '85 tour. We flew up and made it in during the begiining of IKO. The rest of the show is a bit of a blur. I start to recall the show during Estimated. It was quite the smokin' show. There was some guy from Jersey behind yellin' "Dawk Staw Jerry Dawk Staw", its funny what you remember. But I do recall the huge Blues For Allah banner they unrolled during the encore, Satisfaction. The crowd went wild on that one. Many fond memories here.

She Belongs TO Me
Dylan cover is the highlight..Great song they didn't do enough. Rest of the show at least average for 85, my favorite year of the 80's.

i got satisfaction
About eight years ago I noticed that all my 1985 shows were in high rotation compared to other years...still not sure why...but i really love to crank this second set. This crowd sure appreciattes a 85 show, listen to them egg Sir Bob-a-lot on during Satisfaction (one of my favorites)

Absolutely precious She Belongs To Me. What a shame that Brent only did Baby What You Want Me To Do just a few times.

Insane Bass Solo
Is it me or was Phil having a great night? Turn up your stereo and listen Phil take over the lead in Jack Straw! I was grinning ear to ear listening to this insanity. I still have to listen to the 2nd set but I needed to tell someone about this.

Hot brown eyed women and generally good first set leads into a disastrous revolution, Bobby and Jerry sound like they hitting the Genessee ponies a little hard between sets.
Tape gets cut and fades between channels at times this is only for those that went to the show.

She Belongs > In your collection
This show has some very highs and very lows.
First set is fun. 2nd set opens and has a nice groove with Revolution (Even though Jerry butchers the words). Estimated is extremely tight (Listen to the play between drummers / Phil / Jerry) but the jelly on this roll is the ending jam with Healy delaying Bobby's screams and the GREAT instrumental jam that follows. All this into the ABOSULTE WORST Eyes I've ever heard. I can't even listen to it. Not knowing what kind of playing to expect out of space - Other One is nice (Especially Phil) - Miracle is nice - SHE BOLONGS TO ME is OUT OF THIS WORLD !!! - Take this show if only for this reason (And let me know if I'm wrong) - Sugar Mag rocks as does Satisfaction

High Energy
This was my first Grateful Dead show and what an experience it was. In retrospect, this was a fantastic show. I was amazed just watching the crowd at this performance. It was one of those special nights where everything just clicked. The set list was really great too. I think this is the best Aiko Aiko IÂve ever heard. Great stuff for sure. I would highly recommend this show to anyone.
